Crests
I have a Nightfall Elementalist and a Paragon, and something has been bothering me a lot.
Crests. Crests and those stupid elementalist things that aren't auras. I thought auras were a really nice improvement to the elementalist look in Factions and I'm really annoyed that I have to give up an insignia slot to use one. Crests really don't seem to mesh well with the rest of the Guild Wars world, at least in my opinion. They're always too pixely and reflect too much light. Something that would actually be pretty would be a "third eye" type jewel add-on for the headgear. I have a friend from India, and sometimes when she dresses up, she sticks a jewel between her eyes a little bit above her nose. I know Nightfall is supposed to have a North African feel, so Indian things might be out of place, but I think crests are a crime against humanity. I understand that I don't have to display the crests, and I don't. But I'd like to WANT to display my headgear for once, you know? That's my little rant. |
